How Compatible Are You Really?
Add both names, birthdays and photos — we score six things that actually matter in a relationship, then give you advice based on your weakest one. Takes about 20 seconds.
1 Who are you two?
2 A little about you two
Photos stay in your browser — never uploaded, never in the shared link.
What we actually measure
Most love calculators count letters and stop there. We score six separate things, because a relationship that works is rarely strong in only one of them.
Name harmony
The playful part — how your names sound and sit together. It carries the least weight in the final score, and it is the only piece that is pure fun.
Age balance
Not about the number itself but the gap. Couples within a few years usually share cultural reference points and life timing, which removes a lot of friction early on.
Star sign chemistry
Built on elements rather than sign names. Same element means you read each other fast; opposite elements often means you notice what the other one misses.
Communication
Weighted heaviest of the six. Every long-term study of couples lands in the same place: how you talk when things are hard predicts more than how you feel when things are easy.
Passion & spark
Highest early and naturally settles over time. A dipping score here is normal, not a warning — it usually just means you have moved into the comfortable phase.
Long-term potential
Shaped by how long you have known each other and where you are now. Time together genuinely counts for something, and this is where it shows up.
What your score actually means
A number on its own is useless. Here is how to read yours.
Written in the stars
Rare. Everything lines up at once. The risk at this level is complacency — high scores make couples stop doing the small things that got them there.
A match made in heaven
Strong across the board. Chemistry is easy and communication comes naturally rather than being work. Most happy long-term couples sit right here.
Real potential
Solid foundations with one or two soft spots. Look at your lowest bar — that single area is usually the whole difference between this band and the one above.
Worth the effort
You are different in ways that can either spark or scrape. Couples here do well when they talk often and assume good intent instead of reading silence as distance.
Opposites attract
Low on paper. Plenty of lasting couples start exactly here — the maths knows your names and birthdays, not your history together.
♥ The part that matters
Five habits that predict a lasting relationship
None of these are grand gestures. All of them are small enough to start tonight.
- Say hello and goodbye on purposeA real hug at the door rather than a passing peck. Couples who stay close treat the transitions in a day as small check-ins, not formalities to rush through.
- Repair quickly after conflictEvery couple fights. The difference is how fast they find their way back — usually within minutes, not days. Apologise for tone even when you stand by the point.
- Keep one protected hour a weekIt does not need to be dinner or anything expensive. What matters is that it is on the calendar and does not get cancelled for anything less than an emergency.
- Ask questions you do not know the answer toThe couples who last are not the ones who never disagree — they are the ones who never stop being curious about each other. Assumptions are what quietly kill interest.
- Have the boring conversations earlyMoney, location, family, work, children. Avoiding these does not prevent conflict, it only delays it until the stakes are much higher.
Questions people ask
Straight answers about how this works.
Is the Love Calculator accurate?
It is a bit of fun, not science. The score comes from the letters in your names, the gap between your birthdays, your star sign elements and what you tell us about your relationship. The same details always produce the same result, so you can share a link and your partner sees exactly what you saw.
What happens to the photos I upload?
Nothing leaves your device. Photos are read by your own browser to display in the report. They are never sent to our servers and never included in a shared link.
Do I have to enter birthdays and surnames?
No — first names alone will produce a score. Adding surnames and birthdays lets the calculator work out ages and star signs, which makes the breakdown far more specific.
Can I share the result?
Yes. Every report gets its own link. Copy it, or send it straight to WhatsApp, Facebook, X, Telegram, Pinterest, Reddit or email using the buttons in the report.
Should I take a low score seriously?
No. Treat it as a conversation starter, not a verdict. The most useful part of the report is the three suggestions at the bottom, which come from your weakest areas — those apply whatever the number says.
